We are seeking a dynamic and motivated postdoc to join our team. The main task would be to contribute to research projects carried out within our Academic Center of Excellence in Separation Science and Sensing (ULiège-ACESSS; ACESSS.be), promoting ULiège’s leading expertise in analytical chemistry. This position is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in the development of state-of-the-art instrumentation and methodology within cutting-edge scientific projects. The main campus will be located in Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, Gembloux (Belgium).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance research projects in the exposomic field.
  • Manage with autonomy the analytical platform, mainly consisting of UHPLC and SFC-qTOFMS.
  • Collaborate closely within and with the research teams and industry partners to drive innovation.
  • Assure communication of the scientific results.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated high motivation and innovation driven attitude.
  • Hold a PhD degree (or will obtain the PhD degree before the appointment), ideally in analytical chemistry, or a related scientific field. 
  • Experience in LC and/or SFC and/or (high-resolution) MS and/or lipidomics application is a plus.
  • Commitment to full engagement and participation in the project’s objectives.
  • Good proven English level, French is a plus.
